Nancygirl is a clothing label for girls and women who love the classic yet quirky, feminine and elegant styling with unique details. Each range is designed to be mixed with existing wardrobes, to reflect each girl’s individual style. They are stylistically headstrong and enjoy the creativity of getting dressed. 
Nancygirl is a label that is interested in pursuing its own look, shying away from mass trends. Eclectic influences from inspiring people we meet, cultures, handicrafts, concepts etc. influence each collection. We love the creative and artistic energy that working with other creative minds bring forth. Collaborations with artists in other disciplines excite us and influences future collections. As does working with local Victorian artisans whom practice beautiful handicrafts like hand knitting, crochet, macramé, embroidery, beading etc. We like to incorporate these old school techniques in our collections, so we don’t lose appreciation of such gorgeous crafts, keeping these alive.
The designer and creative director of Nancygirl is Nancy Leung. After completing a Degree in Fashion Design, she has since learnt her craft working for various boutique designers in patternmaking, cutting and sampling. Following this, she has had extensive experience in bridal couture which has refined her finishing and construction techniques and grown her appreciation for sumptuous and gorgeous fabrics. Nancy continues to be inspired by creative, admirable people and the quirkily beautiful things we find in life.
